To adjust the length of the “Flat Bungee Cord at this hook marked with Green Arrow.  It adjusts like a normal buckle at the hook, just pull the Flat Cord through the buckle to shorten the bungee cord.  The extra length or tail end of the bungee cord has a steel ring to hold the bungee cord out of the way and just keep the loose end controlled and from flapping around, marked with Blue Arrow, this will not adjust or put tension on the bungee cord.  

 

Remember not to stretch the Bungee Cord more than 50% of your adjusted length.  If you adjust the bungee cord to be 12” long in the relax position you can stretch it to 18” SWL.
