There are 4 styles of cargo bars:
- 05056 telescoping 45" - 70"
- 05055 ratcheting w/automatic extend feature (discontinued)
- 05059 ratcheting 40" - 70"
- 47059 ratcheting 40" - 70"
- 62030 ratcheting 31" - 70" (discontinued)
- 05060 ratcheting 40" - 70" and includes a 60" x 24" storage net
- 05062 ratcheting 44" - 74" HD Extended Reach
Cargo bars are intended to be placed across a cargo area, creating a barrier and separation of a larger cargo area. The cargo area wall should be fixed walls or sides, cargo bars are not intended to have “Compression Forces”, only to divide and to prevent cargo from sliding around in the larger cargo areas.

Outer tube diameter = 1.020” (measured over silver-vein paint finish)
Inner tube diameter = 0.870”
Pad size = 3-1/8" x 2-3/8"

The Working Load Limit (WLL) is 350lbs.
Why would a cargo bar become unlatched or loose?
A ratcheting cargo bar can loosen due to improper tension, incorrect installation, uneven surfaces or wear and tear. Common mistakes include not tightening it enough, using it vertically instead of horizontally, exceeding its weight capacity, or having a worn-out mechanism.
