How to Remove Cable from Winch

To remove and install the cable from the winch use an L-wrench. 

KTSL200RM might be difficult due to small space, remove the side plastic cover by removing the Philip Screws.  (See image below)

WARNING: If the consumer/user changed the factory supplied 3/8” x 92’ of Galvanized wire rope on KW13.5 winch to a smaller diameter wire rope trying to get the drum capacity to hold 120 feet of wire rope, the smaller diameter wire rope would result in a weaker and reduced SWL (Safe Work Load) and reduced winch capacity, no longer a 13,500 lbs. winch rating/capacity. We do not advise changing the factory installed wire rope, or using a wire rope that does not meet our factory specifications.
