EPDM Strap Break Strength

Hampton Products / Keeper Products does not provide break strength values for bungee or EPDM items.

Bungee & EPDM is only specified as the tension the cord/strap would achieve if stretched 50% longer than its relaxed length (48” max safe stretch = 72”).

A bungee or EPDM taken to its ultimate break strength would far exceed this maximum safe stretch length.

Follow ALL Warning Tags Instructions and Labels on the product.

1. Wear protective eyewear such as safety glasses when stretching, fastening or releasing molded ends.
2. Do Not stretch cord more than 50% (for example; the 45” EPDM strap should not be stretched to more than 67.5” total length)
