89815 & 02815 15' Emergency Tow Strap

The Keeper 15 ft. Emergency Tow Strap is designed for roadside emergencies and recoveries. The tow strap features abrasion-resistant 2 in. webbing and forged slip hooks with a safety latch to keep the strap secured to the vehicle while towing.

The inside radius of the slip hook is 0.98".

The hook ID will accept up to a 1” diameter bar.

However, this depends on how the hook can be attached –

• If the hook can be slid over the bar with an open side – up to 1” diameter will fit inside the hook.

• If the hook must be snapped over the bar – then the latch must be folded back, the maximum diameter that will pass by the latch is 0.650” diameter.

The hook is not intended to hook over the strap.

Our Diamond Braid ropes absorb towing jerks better than others.  But these Tow Ropes, Tow Straps and Vehicle Recovery Straps do not allow the towing vehicle to get a running start and apply the Kinetic energy to pull the stuck vehicle out of the mud, snow or sand like seen when using the Kinetic Ropes.

These Recovery Straps are great for use when you do not need to provide Kinetic Energy to pull the vehicle out or you need to add length to your winch cable, because an anchor point, tree, or anchoring vehicle is further than the your winch cable length can reach.
